Prayer

John Wesley once said that, "God does nothing but by prayer, and everything with it."

When Pastor S.R. Behm came to Reading, PA in 1994, he founded Lighthouse Christian Center to be a church that is built on prayer.

Our 500 Franklin Street, West Reading, PA location is open for prayer Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:00-7:00 PM. Saturday's prayer time is 10:00-11:00 AM. Everyone is welcome to join us during these times for prayer for our world, nation, family, friends, needs, etc.

We also have a 1/2 hour focused prayer time before each of our services. For our Sunday Morning service that is currently being held at the Governor Mifflin High School Auditorium, 101 S. Waverly Street, Shillington (map), our prayer time is 9:00-9:30 AM.

For our Sunday Evening Service, our 1/2 hour focused prayer time is 5:30-6:00 PM. Our Wednesday Evening Service is 6:30-7:00 PM. These prayer times are taking place at St. Luke's Evangelical Congregational Church, 315 W. Broad Street, Shillington (map).
